I) Bumble bee

According to recognised aerodynamic tests, the bumble bee cannot fly because

of its body weight in proportionate to its total wing areas. The bumble bee does

not know this. So he goes ahead and flies any way.

“A widely quoted article from Toronto ‘Sun’ newspaper demonstrates: IBM has

decided to have some parts made in Japan and in the specifications they set a

quality level of three defects per 10,000 for the job. When they took delivery there

was an accompanying letter which said, “We Japanese have hard time

understanding American business practices. However, the three defective parts

per 10,000 have been manufactured and included in the dispatch and are

wrapped separately. Hope this satisfies your requirements.”

1) Take any one item of our daily use / daily Sinteraction like shoes, cup, pen,

newspaper, road, bus etc. Suggest five improvements that would make the

life more comfortable

2) Suppose you are gifted with an extra hand (over and above the two you

already have.) Think how advantageously you can use it. List down at least

six ideas.

3) Write the autobiography of a shoe.

4) Have a conversation with a fish.

5) Suppose the salary is same for everyone in an organisation, starting from the

chief executive to the lowest level staff. What would be the consequences?

Would you like / dislike such a policy? Why?

6) Suppose you become the opposite sex. How would you feel?

7) How would you communicate messages to a group which consists of blind,

deaf and dumb people?
